Sky Island is based in Flagstaff and works with schools, districts, and families across Northern Arizona. Northern Arizona is a large region with real driving distances, so we are direct about where and when we can be on site.
How service works across a large region
On-site assessment
Direct assessment, observation, and team meetings happen in the school or an appropriate local setting.
Remote where it makes sense
Records review, consultation, planning conversations, and some family meetings can be held remotely to keep costs and timelines reasonable.
Grouped scheduling
For distant communities we group evaluation days rather than making repeated single-student trips.
In-person meetings with families
Families and school staff meet with Enilda in person where the work calls for it — we are a local practice, not a remote vendor.

Sky Island Educational Evaluations LLC is based in Flagstaff, Arizona, and led by Enilda Sutton, Ed.S., NCSP — a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, certified by the Arizona Department of Education, with over a decade of PreK–12 experience and full working fluency in Spanish and English.

Common questions
Do you travel outside Flagstaff?
Yes. Travel across Northern Arizona is normal for this practice. Distance is factored into scheduling and discussed before any agreement.
Are you available in the Verde Valley and Prescott area?
Yes, subject to scheduling. Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Clarkdale, Prescott, and Prescott Valley are within the service region.
What about tribal and remote communities?
Sky Island works with schools serving communities including Tuba City, Kayenta, Chinle, Ganado, and Whiteriver, coordinated with the school or district and grouped for travel.
